Do you know yours when it comes to how well your content reaches your target audience? No? Really? As Sweet Brown would say, “nobody has time for that”.
Well, apparently people do have time for that. Let me put it this way.
If you’re writing content for the sake of SEO purposes, you may fool Google but you won’t fool your clients/followers/likers/peers/farmers… the people that follow your site.
Yes, you’ll get your website on the front page of a search engine but if the people reading your information aren’t into, then what is the point?
And I’ll put my hand up and say I’ve been guilty of that. Just writing something to make sure I keep my position. What an ego-trip!
I’ve looked at what people like and my best topics are around social media and how to blog for SEO.
At anytime I’ve tried to get technical, the number of views go down.
Wouldn’t you rather be testing your content to see if it’s making an impact rather than be six months down the track trying to work out why no one is following you, contacting you or buying from you?
Why be the coolest kid in town when nobody will talk to you? In other words, if your website can be seen by everyone yet no one is taking an interest in it, then ya need to get in touch with your peeps. Do you feel me?
